Hey, everyone! It’s me, your attention-loving and tail-wagging JournoDog!

All dogs need a playlist, right…?!?!

This doggo believes so. That’s why I have a list of songs that fit the mood, making me happy and also making my editors tap their toes and sing aloud.

In our fur-ever home, Spotify sings often. My Editor-Dad loves to dance. So do I. Many days while we’re doing our journo-work, we stop and dance a bit. I jump up with my paws and we do a little dance before it’s time to sit back down and get back to the job at hand.

This is what’s on my “Dog Love” playlist. Keep in mind, some of these are fun. Some are dancical. Others are just heartwarming and can bring a tear. Whatever fits the mood.

To quote Shakespeare: “If music be the food of love, play on.”

Sure, this ancient wise hooman prob wasn’t thinking about dogs when he wrote that line. And yet, there are so many sounds that celebrate and honor the everything about life with a doggo.

Here’s to dog songs. And dancing, whenever you have the chance.

Until next week, or whenever the news beckons like a barking dog you can’t help but pay attention to, #JournoDog out.

As always, remember: Love your dog. Read a newspaper. Find a song that fills your heart with happiness. And try to smile and find a little happiness for your heart every day.
